Wild Kingdom is the theme for our 24th annual art show and sale on November 16, 2018 from 5-7 pm. An annual tradition since opening the Gallery in 1995, we feature new work by regional artists who have interpreted our theme. We welcome back Bill DeBernardi, Bud Gibbons, Rita Haldeman, Kim Williams, and are please to introduce three new additions: Ashley Cecil, Sheree Daughtery, and Emily Uchityl.
Emily Uchytil is an artist from Baltimore, MD, who creates ecologically themed oil paintings on vintage wallpaper. She offers original paintings, archival prints and greeting cards.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based artist and illustrator, Ashley Cecil's paintings of bold pattern and exotic flora and fauna are printed on soft and durable infinity scarves, which are handmade in Pittsburgh.
Sheree Daugherty is an acclaimed wildlife artist and naturalist whose work is in private and public collections across the country. We will have Sheree's hand-painted holiday ornaments.
Both Ashley and Sheree will donate to the National Aviary a portion of the sales from the evening.
